The stud started out originally started out as Oatley Hill Herefords which has been breeding for over 50 years. Originally breeding horned bulls and now all cows and bulls are polled.

Stud cows have been purchased from the North Island over the years as well as stud bulls from Otapawa, Limehills, Matariki, Grassmere, & Kaiuru.

These are well grown bulls with good markings that would suit as a replacement breeding bull for Hereford cows or a terminal sire over Angus cows.

Tough bulls that last.
