Kate is based in South Canterbury and began her career in the livestock industry in 2017.

Growing up on a sheep and beef farm near Cave in the South Canterbury region, Kate developed a strong passion for livestock and farming from an early age. After completing some research, Kate decided she wanted to become a livestock agent, combining her enthusiasm for farming with her interest in working within the agricultural sector. Kate gained her Level 4 Certificate in Agriculture and has been shepherding across New Zealand since leaving school.


Outside of work, Kate enjoys working horses, hunting throughout New Zealand, and spending time with her mates relaxing at the lakes. She enjoys staying social and spending time outdoors, which helps her unwind and take her mind off work.

Kate is motivated by the opportunity to work as a stock agent because livestock has always been where her passion lies. She enjoys being involved in the farming industry and is looking forward to building strong relationships within the rural community while growing her knowledge and experience.
