Born and bred Cantabrian and schooled in Christchurch Will (or Hursty) was given the opportunity to join as a trainee agent through the Tairei Rugby Union Club.
Based within the Otago region and working out of the Outram office, Hursty started as an agent with PGGW in January 2012. He moved back to Canterbury in 2015 to service Banks Peninsula and has managed to spread his wings throughout the Central Canterbury region with day-to-day dealings focused on sheep, beef, and prime stock side of the industry.
Outside of work Hursty enjoys being outdoors and keeping himself active through sports, particularly rugby union, skiing, cricket, and running. Hursty is a huge fan of the beach or lake and enjoys spending a day at the horse races, going for a run in the Cashmere Hills or getting out for a walk with the family along the beach.
Hursty's motivations are to keep learning and be successful in the rural sector.
