Simon grew up on the family farm in Moeraki and started in the farming industry in 1990, culimating in the management of corporate and high country properties. Upon his return to North Otago he spent 9 years in the fertiliser and agronomy industry before starting in 2025 with Rural Livestock.

Simon brings a wealth of knowledge to his Livestock Agent role from stock management to finishing.

Outside of work Simon enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors from walking to hunting. Family time is always precious to him and he enjoys following his boys as they make their own way in life.

A favourite quote of Simon's is "to every problem there is always a solution". He also lives by the mantra "repition leads to discovery".
