AJ joined Rural Livestock having previously been a Livestock Representative for Alliance servicing the West Otago region and the Teviot Valley. AJ is based out of Tapanui, where he lives with his wife Crystal and kids Ayla and Ollie.

AJ has always had a passion for the livestock industry from a young age, keeping tabs on market pricing and sales action. Prior to working for Alliance AJ managed farms ranging from intensive finishing systems to hill country breeding type properties.

He is involved with the local Rugby union team at Heriot as the head coach which is a great pass time and a great way to catch up with local people away from work. AJ also enjoys hunting and fishing locally and going further into the hills when he gets the chance.

AJ covers all aspects of livestock buying and selling from dairy right through to sheep and beef, grazing, sales, as well as valuations as required. Being able to provide clients with the best return for their product daily is AJ's main objective as well as catering for all farmers needs via Rural Livestock's huge network of experienced agents throughout the South Island.
